School Council

The JDHS School Council is a group of people who help to formulate the school’s educational objectives and priorities.  Composition of the School Council automatically contains the Principal and Deputy of the school, a representative of the P & C and two staff members and four elected parents or community members.

Anyone employed at the school on a full, part-time or casual basis (e.g. teacher, school officer, gardener, relief teacher) is not eligible to act as a parent or community representative on the School Council.  They are, however, eligible to be a school staff representative.

The aim of the JDHS School Council is to make it possible for all members of the school community to share in making decisions about the school’s educational environment.

Our current School Chair is Mrs Tara Aggiss.
